PRIVACY POLICY
Everything stays on your device.
Last updated: September 29, 2026 · Applies to the Furrow Android app and this website.
Short version: Furrow has no accounts, no servers that receive your garden data, no analytics, no ads, and no tracking. Your beds, plantings, tasks and journal live in a single file on your phone. This policy explains the few exceptions in plain language.
1. What we collect
Nothing. Furrow does not collect, transmit, or sell any personal data. The app makes no network connections. There is no sign-up, no account, and nothing to log into.
2. Data stored on your device
- Garden data — bed layouts, what you planted and when, check-offs, harvest counts, and journal notes — is saved locally in your phone's private app storage.
- It is readable only by the Furrow app and is deleted when you uninstall the app.
- Optional export writes a JSON copy wherever you choose (e.g. Downloads); Android handles that file, and Furrow never reads it back automatically.
- In-app “Clear device” erases all local Furrow data immediately and irreversibly. There is no cloud copy.
3. This website
furrowgarden.com is a static informational page served over HTTPS. We do not set advertising or analytics cookies and do not fingerprint visitors. Standard server access logs (IP address, requested page, time) kept by our hosting provider are used only for security and uptime, and are not used to profile anyone.
4. Permissions
Furrow requests no Android permissions. If you use “Export”, Android's standard file picker asks you where to save; Furrow never touches files beyond that choice.
5. Children
Furrow is a general-audience gardening tool and does not knowingly collect any data from anyone, including children under 13.
6. Changes
If this policy ever changes, the new version will appear on this page with a new date. Since the app is offline-first, changes would only ever concern the website or optional export features.
7. Contact
Questions or data requests: hello@furrowgarden.com. Because we hold no data about you, the honest answer to any data request is that we have none to provide — everything is on your device.
